Dr. Phillips Center offering brunch series inside new Judson’s Live music room

ORLANDO, Fla. – Yes, you read that headline correctly. This weekend, you can catch brunch and live music inside the Dr. Phillips Center’s new Judson’s Live music room.

News 6 got a sneak peek of the new intimate performance space before it opened in early February.

Located in the center’s newest wing, behind Steinmetz Hall, the space includes a stage and seating for around 150 people.

Judson’s Live is named after Judson Green, the late jazz musician and former Dr. Phillips Center board member.

Along with night-time events, the music room is now offering a brunch series.

The Za-Boo-Zays started off around 10 years ago with a one-time gig at an Orlando pub. The trio of vocalists include Olivia Wynn Roche, Kaleigh Baker and Hannah Harber Wynn. (Alexandra Arielle)

On Sunday, it will be a southern brunch featuring music from The Za-Boo-Zays. Hannah Harber Wynn, Olivia Wynn Roche and Kaleigh Baker make up the trio of vocalists from Central Florida.

The two-hour brunch includes a selection of made-to-order dishes from the chef-curated menu, along with specialty serving stations.

The menu has comfort-food favorites like chicken and waffles, southern deviled eggs, and barbecue shrimp and grits.

Tickets are $95 a person with brunch times at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m..

Other experiences from the series include a New Orleans theme in May, a Blues Brunch on Father’s Day in June, an R&B Soul Brunch, and a Latin Brunch. Click here for the dates and times.
